Michalis Mavridis was born in Athens in 1967.
In 1987, he was admitted in the Athens School of Fine Arts,
on a SSF (Greek State Scholarship Foundation) Scholarship.
He studied painting, fresco and icon painting.
In 1993, he received his BA degree,
with First Class distinction.
He has presented a solo exhibition in the "Kreonidis" gallery
and has participated in numerous group exhibitions.
Works of his belong to the private Art collection of the Alpha Bank.
At the same time, he has been working
in various churches, such as:
- St George, Kephissia
- St Constantine and St Helena, Nea Makri
- St Marina, Nea Makri
- St Varvara, Ilion
He is currently occupied in the churches of:
- St Paraskevi, Kapandriti
- St Panteleimon, north Euboea
- St Theodoroi, north Euboea
And the chapels of:
- St Paraskevi, Kephissia
- Transfiguration of the Saviour, Raphina
